📋 Project Overview

🔎 Summary

A showcase of undergraduate robotics projects featuring the Ned2, from gesture-controlled manipulation to digital twins, chess-playing robots, and multi-robot production lines.

📝 Full Project Instructions

This video presents a compilation of undergraduate student projects using the Ned2, highlighting hands-on learning and creative applications. Projects include:

  • Multithreading Learning Mode (Tarun Sridhara) – One robot in learning mode while two robots reproduce its movements.

  • Automated Juice Vending Machine (Ipshita & Sathvik) – A robot picks a cup, places it under the machine, and retrieves it once filled.

  • Chess-Playing Robotic Arm (Pranav & Sadhana) – The robot plays the white pieces against a human opponent.

  • Gesture-Controlled Robotic Arm (Arshit, Harshitha & Ganesh) – Control of the Ned2 using hand movements.

  • Robotic Arm Performs Aarti (Vignesh Kannan & Dhanesh K Mahto) – The Ned2 performs a trajectory while holding an object.

  • Digital Twin of Ned2 (Hari Ganesan, Aaryan M S, Aaksk Negi & Yuktha M) – 3D simulation of the physical robot.

  • Multi-Robot Production Line (Tarun Sridhara) – Two robots performing tasks on a conveyor belt, including pick & place with TensorFlow-based object recognition.

These projects demonstrate how students integrate theoretical robotics concepts with practical, real-world applications, spanning automation, human-robot interaction, AI integration, and Industry 4.0 principles.
